VJB’s “Prelude Series” brought to you in collaboration with Carhartt Family Wines:

What is the Great American Songbook?

The Great American Songbook taps into the rich musical heritage of the early 20th century and is deeply rooted in the rhythms of Broadway and Hollywood. This collection is anchored by the genius of iconic American composers such as Gershwin, Porter, Berlin, and Ellington. These pioneers didn't just craft songs; they laid the very backbone of jazz and defined a pivotal era in American music. With their unforgettable melodies, poignant lyrics, and harmonious depths, these tracks have become more than just songs—they represent the heartbeat of American music history.
